Our constant companion during the Tour was Flat John, a nearly life-sized replica of John Norbeck, the Director of the Bureau of State Parks. John (the real one, not the flat one) was kind enough to lend his sense of humor and adventure to the tour project - for which we'll always be grateful.
Because John (the Flat one, not the real one) is the perfect travel companion! He never complained about long hours in the car or odd situations he was forced to endure; he was quiet; and he never tried to take our chocolate!
